Bet you didn't know that flipping the finger was started by longbowmen who when they had their index finger cut off, after being captured by the French so they couldn't shoot anymore, would stick up their middle fingers as a threat that they'd be back and get them. So the next time you flip that special person off, thank the longbowmen.
