What does that have to do with it, I'm talking about braces. I've never seen braces on any children until I came to USA.

Your lucky. At least you dont have to worry about puting in a retainer everyday. When I got mine off (8th to summer after 9th grade), I got metal retainers that I was supposed to wear all day, everyday. Naturally, I wore them for about three weeks before I stopped caring. Then, my orthodontist was like "Yeah, your bottom retainer doesn't fit anymore, here's a clear, fitted retainer." I liked it, so I actually wore it everyday until I accidentally threw it away. It's now been a year since I've worn a retainer, and it shows. I am far too lazy for my own good.

I got the gift of a wire permanently behind my teeth AND two retainers, one for always and one for night. I think after six month sI don't have to use them nearly as often.

I had braces from the beginning of grade three to the end of grade ten, I swear I've never been happier then the day I finally got them off. I actually forgot what my teeth looked like.

Not when they shave the excess glue off with that high pitched drill and make like 5 molds. Oh and if you've ever had a metal ring, getting that off hurts like a mother.

it was... until I had to get them back on... but now my other ones are off, and have been so for about 2 years, so I am happy
