+505 Just because someone is a Christian, that does not mean they are overly conservative and must only vote Republican. They are also capable of having fun somewhere other than church. They can be a fun person that loves music other than just music about Jesus, they are actually capable of doing things other than going to church...and they can do all this and love Jesus at the same time, amirite?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

If they can do this without Jesus, then what's the point of Jesus?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

That's like saying if you can enjoy your life without eating pizza, then what's the point of eating pizza.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

That's the point. You can't enjoy your life without eating pizza.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Wait, what?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

That's the point. Why have pizza if you can be happy without it? Why must I waste time praying to Jesus when I can enjoy my life without religion?

Christianity isn't meant for pleasure on Earth. It's meant to receive eternal life after death on Earth. If being a Christian was all about "fun", everybody would be a Christian. It's not "fun" because it's meant to test your real belief in God. Everybody will not go to Heaven.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I love how you admit Christianity is not fun :D

by Anonymous 12 years ago

It's not meant to be all about excitement.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I actully find my church extremely fun. My youth group has all my best friends, who are all strong Christians, and we go on fun trips. The church service isn't bad either, it never makes me feel guilty, just tells me things I should work on.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Yes, you can love Jesus and sin at the same time.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Crap, I forgot that having fun is a sin, I guess I'm going to hell

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Don't forget that sinful Democratic party, everyone knows it's owned and operated by Satan.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Is it wrong to disagree with a certain group of persons' beliefs? Because if it is, I seriously doubt the freedom of this country.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Hmm, I never knew anonymous said it was wrong to disagree with a set of party beliefs. You must some how be reading b/w the lines.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

No, they didn't directly say it, but were merely implying at it.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

How? At most they were making fun of Conservatives, but I don't see how it implies "Conservatives shouldn't be allowed to believe in what they want".

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Depends on how you define "fun", of course. For some people it's music, pizza, and TV. :P Obviously that's fine, but for others it's underage drinking, smoking, drugs and sex, which is bad. It all depends on the exact person, and what exactly they're doing.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

You obviously do not live in the South...

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Never have i thought even for a moment that Christians ONLY do those things, nor have I met someone else who thinks they ONLY do those things..

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Yes and the same can be said about people of EVERY religion . . that includes Muslims.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

THANK YOU!God I'm sick of people thinking Muslims don't have any fun.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Is the sky blue? I really need an amirite post to confirm obvious things that nobody denies.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

People have to breathe to live, amirite?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

and science, Christians can believe in science as well

by Anonymous 12 years ago

just like i can be atheist and still be offended when you make jokes about Christians because my family is Christian and my friends are too

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I have a friend who's very religious. She has several priests in her family. However, she doesn't try to get me to convert or bring her bible to school. She just tries to live by it and goes to church.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I don't need the obvious stated to me, thanks.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I live in a An area FLOODED with Catholics, me being one of them. There is at least12 private Catholic schools, and every single one of them has absolutely hardcore drinkers and drugs who rock out to usher and wiz. But they attend church. So just because someone attends church, doesn't mean they're a stuck up Jesus freak.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Just because they go to church, does not make them Christians.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Too many people who go to church think that way. They go to church in their best " christan" attitude and as soon as it's over they'll cuss you out for stepping on their shoe.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Yeah exactly. Our priest loves to dip and drink. It's insane lol

by Anonymous 12 years ago

hahaaa:) that happened to me once. as soon as we got out of chruch this woman cussed me out cuz i spilled water on her new shoes. they wernt some kind of expensive jimmy choos they looked like they was from wal-mart.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

When I first read this, I thought it said "Just because someone is /named/ Christian..." and I was REALLY confused, like well duh, not everybody named Christian is a Christian/believes in God, but then I read it again and I was like OHHHH well that makes wayyy more sense lol.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

And yeah, this post explains how I am religiously, everything in it is true for me.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I completly agree with this. I'm a preacher's kid and people get surprised when I say crap, damn it, and the many other things in my colorful voccabulary:)

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I'm Cristian and listen to metel... As do most of my friends.... So you can imagine how we are :x

by Anonymous 12 years ago
