High school is full of kids who will do whatever Hot Topic tells them to, amirite?
by Anonymous12 years ago
lady imma keel you sob beech nigguh
by Anonymous14 years ago
Hot Topic used to be awesome. But now everything they put out EVERYONE buys, regardless of whether or not they know what it is. They just know its popular, and people like it, and the design is cool. I love Hot Topic, but i only buy things that i know.
by Anonymous14 years ago
wow, you're just asking for it really. Putting this on a website that is mainly dominated by teens..
by Anonymous12 years ago
Hottopic has turned into a pussy scene land.
Hottopic USED, [key word] USED to be cool...
They are now dominated by rainbow and emo kids begging to be punched. what happened to the punk-indie styles?
the main stream will eventually drown us all. fuck it.
by Anonymous12 years ago
Hey, I like the stuff they have in hot topic still, mostly for the band-t's and video game stuff. But I guess I would classify as one of those emo kids you're talking about
by Anonymous12 years ago
then that sucks for you, doesn't it?
by Anonymous12 years ago
I don't think Hot Topic was EVER cool because the little "goths" and "punks" who used to shopped there went around bitching about how mainstream other clothing stores were.
by Anonymous12 years ago
it was induviduality for kids who needed an escape.
now it's a clique paradise.
by Anonymous12 years ago
Better than being a hipster
by Anonymous12 years ago
uh, no
by Anonymous12 years ago
"the mainstream will drown us all" that screams either hipster or non-conformist
by Anonymous12 years ago
I prefer neither. I just hate the Alesana and Gaga BS mainstream shit.
by Anonymous12 years ago
How the fuck is Alesana mainstream? I can almost guarantee more people have heard of ABR, We Came As Romans, or Escape The Fate than have heard about Alesana, and even those bands aren't mainstream
by Anonymous12 years ago
Not if you're not American and there are no Hot Topics.
by Anonymous12 years ago
Yeah, I was the only person in my high school with anything from Hot Topic because I went there once.
by Anonymous12 years ago
I'm one of the few things from my highschool with anything from Hot Topic, and that's because I ordered online. Most of the kids in my highschool are cowboys/girls
by Anonymous12 years ago
Most kids in my high school think they're gangsters... I was pretty odd to be a little "punk" kid lol.
by Anonymous12 years ago
Haha yeah, my school is spilt between cowboys, street rats, and preps. There's like a dozen kids that dress punk or emo
by Anonymous12 years ago
Weird. My school was literally me and one friend who dressed "differently" and even then it really wasn't a big deal.
by Anonymous12 years ago
Hot topic??
by Anonymous12 years ago
there were kids who actually pretended to be vampires until they were seniors, like seriously wtf
by Anonymous12 years ago
I wouldn't say high school is FULL of them, but there are definitely a select few with that Jack Skellington shit, cheap metal double-pistol necklaces, frilly pink and black armbands... god, it's horrifying.
by Anonymous12 years ago
What's wrong with Jack Skellington?
by Anonymous12 years ago
Nothing. I love the Nightmare Before Christmas.
It's just that Hot Topic sells a lot of crap with his face on it, and goffic preteens buy the shit even though they've probably never even seen the film.
by Anonymous12 years ago
Thats true, I loved the movie but I get annoyed when I see people and I say I like hack Skellington too and they just give me a blank stare
by Anonymous12 years ago
Most of the people at my school dress in shit from Wal-Mart. There's like a hand full of people who wear anything from Hot Topic. I wear a few things from there because I like the things they have for movies, like Harry Potter, and Hunger Games. Also I'm a Hello Kitty fanatic. Either way most kids in my school have never been there.
