(Heysoulsister) Maybe you keep your promises, but promises mean nothing at all. It's basically a verbal agreement that someone makes with someone else they call a "promise". So, by saying you agree with this you have basically promised the person to thumbs up it. By me disagreeing with this, I have promised to thumbs down it. This post sickens me. You sicken me, don't use capitalization unless it is needed. Like at the beginning of a sentence, don't use it to express random emotions as "I'm angry, maybe if I fully put words in caps lock, my point will get out.". I've said it before, and I'll say it again. You sicken me. Learn to use better grammar.

Dude, calm down. Some people have these things called sentimentality and trust. Promises usually mean more than just a verbal agreement to most people, and instead are an incarnation of trust between two people. if you break the promise, you break the trust.

You only break trust if that person is someone who trusts you. You may not realize it, but people break promises more often than they keep them. It's easier to, and it will always happen. I'm also not mad, emotions are why the human race is falling. We are so bent on greed and making money than we are on common decency. In actuality, emotion is what humans have that make us less than animals. No matter how "superior" we think we are. We're just animals. This is why I have given up all signs of emotion. They are annoying and do nothing but haunt us.

Emotions are the basis of human life. You can't "give up" on emotion, no matter how you try. You sound real bitter, kiddo.

Emotionless is bitterness at its finest. Which is an emotion. If you didn't have emotion, this post wouldn't have sparked anything in you that would have provoked you to comment.

Nothing sparked my interest into writing this. Bitterness may be an emotion, but I'm not bitter. I'm also not ripe. Maybe you're the one bitter. You're trying to get me to change my beliefs about myself when that's all it is: a belief. Another thing, if I act bitter, or if I express my opinion, that is where my "bitterness" comes from. My "bitterness" is just my actions based on thoughts and opinions. My opinions are just thoughts. I'm an Atheist because there is more evidence pointing towards the truth of Atheism, while all you have for Catholicism is a book that anybody could have made up.

I'm confused as to how religion came up for this, but it is pretty much impossible to give up on emotions, because from a non sentimental point of view, emotions are the responses from chemical reactions caused by the brain. You can ignore the emotions all you want (probably not healthy, I went through a period of time like that) but they are there whether or not you want them to be.

Alright. You're right, my emotions are there. I just seem to think they aren't because I have ignored them for so long. Some people have called me a "psychopath". But as for religion, it should be destroyed. Are you religious? If you are, I have a song I want you to listen to; A Little Piece of Heaven - Avenged Sevenfold. Also, since they are. They are not being used. If they are not being used, it's nearly the same as not having them. So, I have been thinking I don't have them. As for this post, I still feel the same way. It's just a verbal agreement of some kind depending on how "trustworthy" you are to someone. But, anyways. Religion is bad, if they aren't being used, what's the point of having them, and you have to listen to that song; look it up on Youtube. Click the animated version. It is a hand cut up, it should be the first one.

Well, while I don't have a denomination, I do believe in the christian God, (as well as Jesus as a savior). I'll admit if you don't use emotions (someone else can debate whether that's an physical choice or not) then they have no purpose. As for the song, I'm not really a fan of Avenged Sevenfold, I usually dislike the message of the songs or the way they present it, but thank you anyways. I would like to let you know that I have been in a similar position where you ignore your emotions for so long you seem to forget about them, and I have to tell you, giving emotions another chance has been one of my best decisions. But to each their own. It definately is more practical and safe to ignore them, but I think one of the great things about life is how easy it is to be happy when you set your mind to it. You can probably tell I'm a strong optimist XD
