+324 It's kind of gross how animals lick themselves clean. Isn't it just licking all the dirt and bacteria off their fur and into their mouths? amirite?

though a dogs mouth is cleaner than a humans because their saliva is different and breaks down bacteria easier.

(....): Sanitary or not, it's still pretty fucking gross when a dog tries to lick you after licking it's balls, you know what I mean? I don't care how many germs are actually involved, it's still a "dirty" (mentally off putting) thought.
