+144 It sucks watching a medical show with someone that's a doctor or nurse. They keep screaming out diagnoses that sound like gibberish. amirite?

I'm Greek and pay attention during Science, so I understand everything easily. y I don't really watch medical shows though, they're interesting but I usually only do so when my mum's watching Gray's Anatomy and I have nothing else to do or House is on during boring Sundays.

A lot of it is real diagnoses/instructions that would apply to the situation. My mother is a health professional who works in ER/Trauma, and she spits out the same stuff seconds before they do, and a lot of the stuff she says matches(not always). I also recognize some of the stuff they say. There was this one woman who was having heart complications in Grey's Anatomy, and one of the doctors said, "...No history of Marfans..." I understood why that would be relevant, since Marfan Syndrome is a genetic disease that affects the heart (among a whole host of other things). It adds realism to shows that are really nothing like what happens in hospitals in other respects.
