+250 People need to realize that videogames can't always be blamed because some people are just insane, amirite?

I can understand why video games are blamed for violent behavior in youth. Kids are playing mature-rated video games before they are even mature enough to understand the games. The games are encouraging children to think up the most efficient strategies that incorporate violence to optimize time played and score achieved. These games may also lead the children to believe that violence is a rational solution to any dissatisfying situation.

I understand where you are coming from and if this weren't Amirite? and I didn't need to be concise with my post, I also would have added something about how it's not the game's fault that the parent who works too much to stop their seven year old kid from playing Call of Duty is to blame. I do disagree, however, to anyone who says that violent videogames will cause a normal, rational, mature human-being to become overly violent and go on a murderous rampage.
