Why would you be horrified? I mean, that's happened to me a few times, but sometimes they don't have many friends and just want someone to be close to.

I have a friend like that. I don't really hate her, but I wouldn't consider us close. It makes me wonder why she thinks we're best friends when she ignores me for half the year.

I have a situation like that, this girl comes and sits with my group and never ever talks. She only talks on facebook, commenting on absolutely everything.
