Wit beyond measure is man's greatest treasure. The way you said it makes it only apply to men, which is horribly wrong. Rowena herself was a woman, which is why it is not "a man's" but "man's."

0 =/= o..... This is by far one of my favorite quotes. I must digress though. The difference in saying "a man's" saying "man's" in this is minimal. If anything, the majority of history was created and written down and showcased by men and for men with women thrown in if it got people off their backs. Nowadays. We loosely translate it to mean humanity in general. I would ask our forefathers to rewrite the constitution. And I'm sure J.K. Rowling knew what she was doing.
