i don't see why, since when has chocolate and ice cream been a bad combination? besides, and i know i'll catch some flak for this, mint to me implies toothpaste, not dessert.

Agreed. Mint chocolate chip ice cream tastes DISGUSTING. The mint ruins everything! Chocolate chip ice cream on the other hand... Mmmm.
