The last time I went to the dentist, I was feeling nauseated and I had a feeling that'd make me throw up if they put it in a bite-plate like they usually do, so they used a toothbrush and it was a bit better. Maybe you should ask for them to do that next time? :]

Thank youuu! I'll make up an excuse, and be like "hey, I'm almost throwing up, can you not use the plate, please?" I think he'll understand. The only good thing about that dentist's office is that he puts a warm pillow under your head, and a massage thing on your back.

I just went to the dentist today and I was thinking the exact same thing! My dentist doesn't give me a choice. It's this weird tasting liquid that always makes me nauseous. It tastes terrible! Plus,you can't eat for 30 minutes and I am always hungry afterwords, for some strange reason...

uhhhhh i think the worst part would have to be when they stick that thing in your mouth and scrape your gums until you bleed and then yell at you for not flossing. like my gums would have been fine if you didn't stab them!

I haven't had good experiences with the dentist, so maybe I'm extra biased. I really dislike the intense flossing my hygienist does to me, as well as the scraping thing. I also dislike the motorized brush thing they use with the paste, mostly because I hate the feel of it on my teeth. As I've had multiple fillings, I've grown to hate the drill sound more and more and I've never been a fan of the feeling. Considering all this, I can handle 30 seconds of bad fluoride.

uhhh no. it's when they scrape the shit out of your teeth. plus you can just spit out the flouride. and they're only painting it on, not running their metal fingernails down your chalkboard teeth.

I hate the not being able to eat for an hour after its put on. Usually, I have dentist appointments in the afternoon and for some reason, I never think to have a snack or something before, so I get hungry after.
