+524 If you were a genie and a person asked you this wish, "I wish you would not grant me this wish" you wouldn't know what to do, amirite?

Haaa, it took me a few moments to get this - I am so slow.

It's the same infinite loop as "If Pinocchio said 'My nose will grow now' what would happen?"

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I hate that one! If it does grow, he's telling the truth, but if he's telling the truth, it shouldn't be growing in the first place. If it doesn't, he's lying, but if he's lying that means his nose would grow.

...thanks for explaining. xD

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Sorry. :( I was just kind of thinking about it in my head as I typed so... sorry.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

haha I know. xD

by Anonymous 13 years ago

To be fair, an inaccurate prediction doesn't count as a lie.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

But it shouldn't be inaccurate, because he knows what makes his nose grow.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

But he wouldn't know whether it would, on account of the paradox.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

We are getting way too in depth. XD

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Who's to say Pinnochio's nose only grows when he lies? He could be getting a nose job at the moment... Or he just got punched and it was swelling up :P

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Continue to be fictional I guess :D

by Anonymous 13 years ago

it is a huggeeee paradox

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I would turn them into a duck, and have a very tasty dinner.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

i think its quit obvious, the genie would not grant the wish lol.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I think it's quite obvious that you don't understand.
