You try getting a job with unicornprincess as your e-mail, then you can come calling professional sane people boring!!

I'm putting my regular email (which is not my name) on college apps and such. I'd rather them think I'm unique than ordinary

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Good luck.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

They're grown adults who look at your grades and academic achievements, not look at your e-mail address and think "What a creative email address! She is so unique! We want her to attend our school!"

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yeah it might sound cute when you're 12, but in a couple years puppyluvrxoxo@whatever.com is just gonna be embarassing for you to give out

by Anonymous 13 years ago

i do agree with this post, except if your talking about college apps and such, but i just had to disagree to make the score -69

I do admit, when I was like 10 I wanted something fun. Now I'm glad that mine's just a name. Having to give your email address to pretty much everything you apply for, it'd be pretty embarrassing to see something like "iluvdogz123@whatever.com." Most of my friends had to change their email address, which is extremely inconvenient...

I have three emails- my fun one for friends and family, my name for college and scholarships, and one for the non-profit I'm working on starting.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Maybe that email address might not be exciting, but that doesn't say anything about who they are as a person. And who cares? It's just an email address.

When I was little I thought it was cool, but I'll have to get around to changing it eventually.

The name 'John Smith' was your choice for a post about uncreative people. Does anyone else see the irony?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

says Anonymous

People that make up the name "John Smith" are usually boring and not very creative.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

looks like jaden smith dodged that bullet

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Dawg, if there was actually an email website called whatever.com, I would be on that like a biker gets on a bike.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It's call being professional.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Its called a professional email address.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Seriously. Mine is exactly my name, but you can't say I'm not creative one bit. I'm a professional makeup artist and hair stylist/colorist. Yeaaaah. Hella lame.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You're not lame for making your e-mail "firstname.lastname@whatever.mom" because it'll show your boss or the college you're applying to that your a serious individual. Plus, it won't be at all embarrassing to have that instead of "imaprettypony@whatever.mom" when you're older.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

.mom? and my email is the other way around surname.first name @yahoo.com

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Its called being mature/professional.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Uh, no. I have two e-mail addresses: a funny one for family/friends to reach me, and one with my first and last name for professional/work purposes.
