Cross country: My sport is your sport's punishment. amirite?
by Anonymous13 years ago
i made this post about track ages ago, but still so true :)
by Anonymous13 years ago
Lol love xc. Everyone at my school thinks were crazy for wanting to run
by Anonymous13 years ago
Wow favorited because its true
by Anonymous13 years ago
Swimming is still harder. 10k a day. :(
by Anonymous13 years ago
half marathon in morning practice and half marathon in night practice
by Anonymous13 years ago
Swimming is not hard, so shut up. Trust me, I did it for seven years. Xc is waaaay harder
by Anonymous13 years ago
no don't say that, all sports except golf and tennis require a lot
by Anonymous13 years ago
what the hell? tennis is a hard sport. it doesn't look it, but trust me it is.
by Anonymous13 years ago
trust me I played for a couple years it is no where near as demanding as xc or swimming
by Anonymous13 years ago
i run cross country and play golf for my school. in golf, you have to maintain a swing while walking through a 4-5 mile long course
by Anonymous13 years ago
I know, and carry your bag, still ntb
by Anonymous13 years ago
Well golf isn't as physically demanding but is much harder to be really good/accurate at. I run xc and play golf for my school.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Id rather run a xc practice than swim a swimming one, especially with 3 a days.
by Anonymous13 years ago
we have xc 3 a days so yeah...
by Anonymous13 years ago
just for a month though
by Anonymous13 years ago
Uh, we have three a days too? It's some hard shit that goes down at our practices
by Anonymous13 years ago
You work really hard, but try doing it underwater, and using every muscle in your body, not just your legs and abs.
by Anonymous13 years ago
As I said, I have swam for seven years. There is no comparision
by Anonymous13 years ago
i got all respect for swimmers as an xc person. i think we should all get together, create a triathlete team, and show them football/soccer players whats up
by Anonymous13 years ago
yeah fuck football players, only worthwhile ones are qbs rbs and fbs

Cross Country: Our shoes have more miles than your car.
<3
by Anonymous13 years ago
Actually youre our sport's warm up!
by Anonymous13 years ago
This year, we had eight mile practices once a week at almost race pace. You run eight miles in 56 minutes as a warm-up. Hahaa.. I'd like to see you try. >=P
by Anonymous13 years ago
Hell yeah, cross country is where it's at!
by Anonymous13 years ago
When we get in trouble at a practice and stuff, the coach doesn't make us run a cross country course. He makes us run a lot of sprints. So this post would make a lot more sense if it was talking about track... not cross country.

Anyone who thinks XC is easy, go watch a race and see how happy and carefree the runners look. And notice the AMBULANCE ON CALL.
Still think it's easy?
by Anonymous13 years ago
Yes.
by Anonymous13 years ago
there are no hills in water, there are no other people to bump into in water as you are separated, and cannot trip in water
by Anonymous13 years ago
In our races, EMTs are placed at every 800 meters, along with about 10 of them at the finish, while we're puking our guts out and trying to stay conscious. It's NOT easy, ClayKay.
