yesterday i went to a local fast-food type place (they have this thing called a doughboy which is cheese, chicken, and scallions baked inside pizza crust. it is the best thing ever. but that's beside the point.) and I paid in all coins. It was totally worth the disapproving look by the cashier lady

the cashier kind of joked about it. it's not a busy place, and it was either i payed with quarters and dimes, or with nothing at all. but i totally understand your hatred of tediously counting off the change.
