They are just called toe separators. I think.

Oh. Well now I know. And knowing is half the battle!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Indeed. And I do believe they are just called toe separators because that's what I typed into google images, and if google accepts it, then it's fact.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Seems logical, but they might have some weird, unknown name. If you type "shoelace tips" into Google, you'd get images of them even though they're called anglets. <--- Fun Fact of the Day

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Actually, they're called aglets.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

NO. that is the hard piece of plastic or metal on the end of a shoelace. I learned that from Phineas and Ferb

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You're right, I always make that mistake for some reason.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Shoot. I realized you had that other comment... now i feel like an idiot for that first comment

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Um, actually they're called aglets or aiglets.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

An aglet is the little plastic part at the end of your shoelace that keeps it from getting frayed. Google it.

Cotton balls?
