I don't think everyone would be stupid. There would still be people to teach you things (like your older family members or something). We would also learn more from life experiences.

Without school, going back as far as we could, for the most part we wouldn't have any advancements in science so the worlds population would be smaller due to disease and those who survived would probably be immune to a lot of diseases we have today and be in better shape.
