yeah they are because im a diabetic i take insuline and you can be a vegan as long as you have carbohydrates which you can find in fruits and stuff

They've been doing it for a while now. I believe it's pretty much impossible to get animal derived insulin anymore since bioengineered insulin is easier and quicker to produce, cheaper, and is more suitable for humans to use. If we were still reliant on animal insulin there probably wouldn't even be enough to supply all diabetics.

I'm not an insulin dependent diabetic, but I am diabetic. And my doctor highly advised me to stay away from a vegan diet.
