Get him a 1969 Dodge Charger. You'll instantly become his favourite child.

is that a car? Yeah, like I have the money for that. But I DO want to become his favorite child... HAHA TAKE THAT SISTER!!!

I always just straight-out ask him. He usually has some random doodad he wants, or a book he likes, that he'd never buy for himself, and that I wouldn't think of either. Trust me the straightforward approach is best.

thanks, but my dad would be like, "I don't know, whatever." like, thanks a lot dad!
by Anonymous13 years ago
haha, true... that would be annoying :-)

i asked my dad what he wanted once and he said a pen >.> its like i'm not getting you a pen >.>

why is this only for girls?
don't guys have fathers?
don't fathers want gifts from their sons?
by Anonymous13 years ago
yes but I would think that guys would know what to get their dads because they are both males. I mean, it's easier to get my mom something because I'm a girl and we would want some of the same things. Same for guys.

I feel like I saw this post at the right time because my dad's birthday is in 12 days...
My dad's always like "I don't want anything!" or "Just come visit me and that's fine." It's like "I want to get you something, dad, or I wouldn't have asked."

i used to wish my dad had a job where he had to dress in a suit and tie so i could get him a nice tie for every holiday hehe

I usually buy my Dad a hairbrush because he ALWAYS loses his and then he steals mine. But his last birthday, I made him cupcakes since he hadn't lost his hairbrush.
