+1,472 The saying "live each day like it was your last" isn't that well thought out. People would probably do crazy things with terrible consequences. Like punching people, raping people, killing people. Personally I'd probably spend all my money on loads of stuff. When I wake up the next day and realise that wasn't my last day, I'm screwed. amirite?

Yeah, but people do those things every day. People aren't all the same, what people choose to do with their last day varies entirely from person to person. For my last day, I would try to live like I always have, but just be kinder, more loving, etc. Try to have fun. See?

the saying does not literaly imply to do things like this. it simply means to live each day to its fullest potential, not throw it away.

Says something about your state of mind...

The original quote is "Live as if you'll die tomorrow, learn as if you'll live forever". Basically saying to make the most of each day and take as many lessons from every situation you find yourself in because life is unexpected.

yeah anthony, i can see your point, some people WOULD do that. but thats just those people. the quote is saying that you shouldnt be a downer and waste your life away. you should live in the moment, loving every second of it. "carpe diem: seize the day." if it was my last day, i would go skydiving :)
