+646 apple is probably secretly making viruses for pc's, amirite?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I always thought it was the anti virus distributors that were making them, but it makes sense that Apple would too.

I wouldn't be at all suprised. Too bad it only takes a shred of common sense to avoid viruses, or they might not still be a tiny percentage of the market with their overpriced-but-not-any-better machines.

I have a PC with Windows Vista I would pay more for a Mac if I were you I don't like my PC. Good point though.

You only need to pay more for a mac if you're computer-illiterate. If your computer is old, a new pc would make you just as happy at a fraction of the cost. If your problems are caused by viruses, try actually using your antivirus software and firewall... all available free through microsoft... update the software regularly, and use a little common sense. Don't click on "install ActiveXblahblahGonnaGiveYourPCherpes" when you're watching porn. Don't open spam email. Don't download things if you don't know what they are. It's not rocket science; it's stuff people should have to know before owning a computer, imho.

and vice versa

I've always thought those "protect your computer from viruses" websites, (ie mycleanpc.com,) would be the PERFECT way to spread a virus...
