+638 Seeing a song costs $1.29 instead of $0.99 to download is like a musical slap in the face, amirite?

Lol, who buys music anymore?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

People that respect the artists enough to pay them for their work.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

More like people who try to find an excuse to pay for their music because they're too pussy to download it for free somewhere. It's been proven that pirating music and movies actually helps them. Look it up, why don'tcha?

Artists only receive 10 cents on a $0.99 iTunes download.

And sometimes and artist can end up with pretty much nothing from a sale. If you want to support an artist, see them in concert and buy their merch, if you buy it on tour the money goes directly to the band.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

also you aint help the band if you buy from a shop either theyve alredi made the money from sellin it to the shops

by Anonymous 13 years ago

thats retarded logic the shops will only buy more from the artist if it is selling right?

am i the only one who thinks downloading songs should be free? i can understand paying for a concert because it's the real deal, but it's just a recording...

Australians pay $2.19 for most songs on iTunes now. UGH.
