+436 Celebrities who name their kids really ridiculous names are just mean, it's as if they want their kids to get bullied, amirite?

Aww come on. Everyone is naming their children "Apple" nowadays.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That could be sweet. "You're the APPLE of my eye!" Or not so sweet. "Hey Apple, I'd eat you any day. ;)"

Isn't Nicholas Cage's son named Kal-el, the kryptonian name of Superman? Bullies might go up to him and say, " Oh so you're superman, let's see how tough you are." I'm just using my imagination so it doesn't mean it would happen, but it could.

Bullied? The offspring of celebrities? People will be worshiping them, names be damned. Also, names aren't really that big of a deal. Think of names like Shaniqua or whatever, and compare that to Destiny and it's not that big a difference.

Names aren't that big of a deal? People make fun of my "ghetto" name all the time. D:

Are your parents celebrities?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yes.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Oh well maybe I've heard of them, who are they?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Oh, you haven't. They're C list celebrities.

Try me

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Oh, shut up. You knew I was kidding. :P

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You always think I know you so well, why is that?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I don't know.

people who give their kids boring names are ridiculous. it's as if they just want their kids to blend in and become just another conforming face in the crowd

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Not really.Giving them a normal name offers them a higher chance of becoming a normal, law abiding citizen...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Studies show that people with abnormal names are more likely to commit crimes/get bullied.

"Hey you can't mess with me, my mom is famous." "Yeah well at least MY mom didn't name me Table"

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Celebrities? I would think the offspring of people who AREN'T celebrities would get bullied.

Totally off-topic, but speaking of weird names, my cousin has a girl in her class named La-a. Pronounced "luh dash uh". Not kidding.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Suure. Definitely haven't heard THAT one before....

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Neither have I, but I've heard my cousin talk about her before then, so I know that is indeed her name.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

What's even worse is a normal person with a wierd name

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Some have "weird" names because they are from different cultures. I am volunteering at a kindergarten in a part of town like this and the whole class has "weird" names.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It makes sense when the kid is from a different culture, but what if Nicole Richie's son grows up to be some bodybuilder and he's got a name like "Sparrow"? Can you imagine the weird looks?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I think he has to grow up to be super-skinny, and with brown hair. That's what comes to mind when I think of a person named "Sparrow."

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I wouldn't mess with a celebrity's kid.... the world would hate me

pilot inspektor

I feel bad for Frank Zappa's kids. They have some of the strangest "names" I've ever heard. (Dweezil, Moon Unit, Diva Thin Muffin Pigeen and Ahmet Emuukha Rodan)

Will Smith, and his daughter Willow Smith. I'm sensing a pattern...

His wife Jada, and their son Jaden!
