People act like they have ownership over certain bands, amirite?

Very true. Though I will admit, I get slightly defensive when someone I don't think much of walks into school wearing a shirt promoting a favorite band of mine...

It's funny when someone doesn't know they're wearing a band shirt.

This is so true. It’s because of the connection they feel with the band through the music. I get really defensive when people talk about my favorite band.

Not only do a lot of people defensive about the band, but they try to get others to like the band if they’re underground music. I’m guilty...

One thing I really hate is when I overhear people talking about a band I like and either they say the name of one their songs wrong or the actual band's name wrong and I get so pissed off.
