Not really, when you compare the size of Scotland to the size of America. Not every Scott grows up learning to play the bagpipes.

No, because if you even the populations out, scotland has around 10 times as many bands, given that in america there is one band per 2800000 people and in scotland there's one per 308000 people. Yes I did find out their populations and did count each country's bands.
