What I just said had absolutely NOTHING to do with the fact that I thought legalizing rape was something to be supported. I think the opposite. Don't put words in my mouth. My reasoning for calling that comment racist is because I'm from the middle east. Don't say that middle eastern countries are coming up with screwed up laws solely based on the fact that few of them are. Have you heard of Lebanon coming up with screwed up laws? No. How about Jordan? No. So just because Afghanistan and some other middle eastern countries have decided to go nuts with their laws doesn't give you a right to say the ENTIRE middle east is ''coming up with screwed up laws''. There's also no need for profanity.

her comment wasn't rasist! She's talking about the area, not everyone there... Some places in the middle east have strange laws that most people don't find reasonable, she never said anything bad about all the countries and people

Even if I HAD said "all middle eastern countries are.." That would just be generalising, it wouldn't be racism. Calling someone racist is a serious accusation and unless someone actually mentions race you shouldn't make assumptions. I've seen and heard real racists and they are truely despicable people, so bare with me if I use profanity when someone tries to put me in the same group as people like that.

He didn't legalize it! It's been legal for year's and he did nothing about it. Like everything else with politics there's specific things in place for it to be legal. If she's alone after dark, if she accepts a ride from a guy she doesn't know. If she puts herself in harms way then it's basically legal. Not that I'm still okay with that. But if this WAS just legalized you'd be hearing it all over the news, and even all over this site. Not just from this one guy who likes to make shit up to be agreed with!
