+300 It's really weird how a song like Tik Tok can be considered overplayed and annoying when its only been out for about a year and a song thats been out for 10 years is still a hit, amirite?

What ten year hit are you referring to?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Not really any hit. I was kind of thinking of Bakcstreet Boys or Madonna.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I haven't heard a backstreet boys sing since like 6th grade! Lol. Madonna is a classic hit though...

I believe "overplayed" is a word the nice people use to say "This song freaking blows, why is this on the radio at all?"

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Ditto. I just used that word because people would get their PMS going for this reason or that, ya know?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I think it's more of a quality v.s quantity(or time-frame) thing

by Anonymous 13 years ago

well, in 10 years Tik Tok wont be overplayed. I Want It That Way was probably overplayed, too. And they're both hits.

It all depends on how much they play the song. If they play it every couple hours or so (with different songs in between) then that's okay. But if it's on every half hour ( *cough* KISS and JAMN *cough* ) then it makes the song suck.
