Hmm...Smith sounds familiar...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Never even heard of a Patel before.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

There's like 3 Patels in my grade. And they're not even related.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

It's a very popular Indian name I believe.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

...I have. She's brilliant, class valedictorian, and about 5 feet tall, absolutely tiny.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Nguyen?! whaaaat?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Yeah. Not only is it pretty common here, but 40% of the people in Vietnam have it as their last name.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I know an asian kid with that last name.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Its pronounced like "win"

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I know about 245678946 Johnson's, but none of the others. I live in Norwegian land, though.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Norwegian land lolwut

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Johnson is a Norwegian name. ...I should know, I'm Norwegian and that's my last name.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

In my area of Minnesota, I'd say around 85% of the people are at least partially Norwegian (thus Norwegian land). Also Lutheran, but, ya know, that's not what this post is about. Johnson is a Norwegian last name.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Really? I live in Norwegian land, too, but I know people with most of those last names.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

After I commented, I realized I actually do know one Smith, but that's it for the others.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I know an Nguyen, 3 Patels, 3 Smiths, like 4 Johnsons, and a Williams, but I only know someone with Parker as a first name.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Damn it, I would of known none if it wasn't for Williams. ( This is excluding random people I have only met once or twice of course)

1 Nguyen, 1 Patel, 4 Smiths, 3 Johnsons, 1 Parker, and 9 Williams, 12 if you count two people I knew but are dead and one person with the maiden name Williams. There are a ton of Nguyens and Patels at my school.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I no a bajillion Nguyens, Johnsons, and Williams, but not Parkers Smiths or Patels.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I know at least 6 Nguyens

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Saying "know of someone" is kind fo cheating. Who doesn't know John Smith, Peter Parker or Andrew Johnson?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

60+ Nguyens, 20+ Patels, 14 Johnsons, 4 Parkers , 10+ Wlliams, and like 20+ Smiths

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I know three Johnsons and one Nguyen.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

four out of sixxx;p never heard of patel or parkerrr? ahaha

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Smith, Johnson, Parker. Don't know anyone with the others. Most common surnames in my school: van der Merwe, Smit, De Kock...

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Lol. De Kock. Where are you from? Because those I've never even heard of anyone with any of those last names.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

South Africa. They are actually Afrikaans surnames, but in English they sound weird. There are about 20 people in my grade with the last name De Kock, haha.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

There was 40 Nguyens in the year level above me at school, plus 20 odd in my year. And yet I can't think of anyone with any of the other last names.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

How do you pronounce that?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

with difficulty?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

There are three teachers with the last name Williams. So we have to clarify between Mr Williams, the French teacher Ms Williams, and the art teacher Ms Williams.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

We have a Parker Smith. His parents were real original.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

and Lee/Li.
