I hate that! It's also annoying when people say, "I need a pack of cigarettes." Really, do you? No.

Why so specific? People misuse that word all the time (where I live at least). Oh man I NEED to finish this in an hour. You NEED to do this project in parts. I NEED you to do me this favour. It happens with a bunch of words, not just this one. No one else just notices...
