Well, just because America has a black president, doesn't mean people aren't racist. There were some people who solely voted for Obama because he's black and there were also people who didn't vote for him because he was black. People do have a reason as to why they don't like other races, it's just a reason that doesn't make sense to non-racists. And by the way, African-Americans are NOT the only ones who get hated on. There are many other minorities, like Mexicans, Hispanics, Asians. I'm Indian and I've encountered racists.And let's not forget that people hate all Muslims just because of 9/11. Just because some extremists did that, does not mean all Muslims think that way.

Let's not forget that the majority race also gets a share of racism sent our way, too, please. I get what you're saying, everyone has been effected by racism, but when we say that, we have to remember that white people can both be givers and recievers of racism :

That is true, however since it's a majority of people in America are white, it's pretty rare. And even so, it'd be minor. I've been told to go back to "my country" when I was born in America. People also think I'm a terroist because of my skin tone. But racism is racism, regardless of it being minor or not.

Racism was everyone's pastime. The Vedic hymns state that the world is divided in 4 classes, the kings, the soldiers, the regular class, and the shudras (dark-skinned laborers). And that was stated well over 3000 years ago, soooo not all America's fault.

I noticed no one pointed out how white people get hated on sometimes too. I'm sorry, but sometimes people are rediculous. White people are not all racists, because most aren't. It's like people think other races can't be racists. "Must be those whites!"
