I don't like what MLIA has become, but I saw this post (man, i made this post all the way back in September) and thought it was clever. But because I'm not CanadianPimp, I indicated with the magical magicy magic of "punctuation" and "logic" that I didn't write this post myself, except I didn't directly credit MLIA because i'd get 10x more hate if i did. :P

/facepalm I thought it was a nice idea, but pity I hadn't come up with it first, so to signal I was in fact NOT the one to write it, I put it in quotations and added an un-quoted statement at the end. People: This is not twitter, this is not facebook, this is NOT MLIA. Here, you don't post things from other sites, whether you're trying to take credit for it or not. This was one of the major reasons I left MLIA, it was FULL of posts that went something like this: "Today, I saw a facebook group that said "Justin beiber needs to hit puberty" yes, yes he does MLIA" Notice how almost zero thought was put into this, this kind of thing does not need to start happening here.

You perplex me. People would just rage 10x more if I directly cited MLIA. For people who haven't seen the MLIA post, they would see this post and appreciate it, and also notice that I was quoting it from somewhere. Usually you don't quote yourself unless you're an absolute douchebag. So, logically, they'd understand I saw this "somewhere" and happened to agree with it, but was decent enough to bespeak that I was not the one to come up with it. Whoa!
