+530 You go to school for 13 years, you go to college, and you work until you die. What kind of world is this, amirite?

A world where we should earn our luxuries.

Exactly. This person didn't think at all about the pleasures of life.

A world where intelligent life is short. A world drowning in greed of humans trying to get out of any work. A world where there are food shortages for the growing population. A world where there is a lack of resources in many places, and others closely following this trend. THE World in which we unfortanetly live.

Well, aren't you a Negative Nancy. There's also a lot of wonderful things in the world that we need to work towards. Sure, the world isn't all sunshine in rainbows, but it also isn't all grief and sorrow.

That's but the pessimist way of looking at it. I mean, come on, you have multiple breaks in work/study so that you can use all that you've gained for good. You only learn so you can work later, and you only work later so your life in between work can be good. It's impossible to only have fun and do 0 work, because there has to be balance. You can't only poop or only eat -- you need one to do the other.

School's 13 years? It's 12 where I'm from. That's excluding pre-primary/kindergarten. Primary school: Grades 1-7 High school: Grades 8-12

My friend said something to me once, it goes like this: You study, you succeed. You succeed, you're happy. You're happy, you play. You play, you get tired. You get tired, you die. It sounds much more impressive in Arabic, but the meaning is still the same.
