Kid brother being gaaaaaaaaaaayy! Not literally, but yeah. He doesn't like it. He's to close to his mommy. *eyeroll*

He doesn't like Coraline?!

by Anonymous 14 years ago

He's scared. Blah. But he looooves Nightmare Before Christmas and Corpse Bride. Like I said, mommy-issues.

Gotcha. Such a great movie though. Does he like James and the Giant Peach?

A little bit.... He hasn't seen it very much. And he saw it when he was young. But all my younger cousins hate Coraline. :P

I've read your other posts, you have too good of a vocabulary to have to use the word 'gay' in that context. Plus, it's offensive to many people when used that way. Just sayin'. But anyway, aww, that sucks. I watched about half of Coraline last month, didn't finish it. I read the book in Grade 8 which, wow, was a little under six years ago. I think I just didn't read the last chapter or something. I was kind of disappointed with the movie thus far, but I'll have to watch it all to really draw a conclusion. Such a fun tale. Try to convince your brother more, bribe him with candy. I don't think it'll be all that scary.

I read the book too. It was a fairly good read, and I enjoyed it. The movie's pretty good, and I like the Wybie character, but it irks me when people say Coraline and Wybie are 'together' or whatever. She's what... 11? Okay, that's usually when kiddos do the whole boyfriend/girlfriend thing, but yeah. I don't think she likes him enough. But whatever. Yeah, I really don't like using the word in that context as some of my friends are gay or bi. I guess you could say it was a cliche teenage lapse of the brain.
