+249 If the Spanish woman can't figure out what the box of diapers is, I really doubt writing it in Spanish next to the English will really help all that much, amirite?

It's like the textbooks for Social Studies at my old middle school. All the lessons and notes and everything in the book were in English, but then there was this random Spanish glossary in the back of the book after the English glossary O.o If nothing else in the book is Spanish, why add a Spanish glossary? Is that helping anyone (no matter what language you speak)?

You need to know more than just that it's diapers. There are different sizes, types, etc.

it's not about being able to read or understand it's about appeasing a demographic. If you see something with no English on it but only another language you are going to feel alienated and are probably going to be less likely to buy it compared to the brand that DOES have both languages.
