-589 You have an I <3 Boobies bracelet. amirite?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I don't, and I only know one other person who does :/

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Guess it hasn't really diffused as much over to you. They are big over here in Southern Cali

by Anonymous 13 years ago

yeah, I'm all the way on the east coast, but I'm sure we'll catch on soon ;)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

They have plenty of them on the east side of America as well, they're stupid

by Anonymous 13 years ago

er I meant to their area specifically. They aren't stupid unless people wear them just because they say boobies, and not for breast cancer awareness/help donate.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I didnt even see your comment, I wasn't trying to be rude to you. I know they started off as breast cancer awareness but nowadays the only people I see wearing them are teenage boys who don't give a shit about breast cancer, they just love boobs. which is why i think they're stupid.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I bet you the people who created the bracelets were expecting that to happen. I mean "I <3 Boobies"? That doesn't really make it more attractive to "serious" people and as "KluKlayu" just said the money goes to breast cancer research so I really don't think they care.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Uh.. No. I'm a girl. And i have one.. They're for a good cause I don't see why it's even a big deal if that's why they wear them.. Anything to benefit the research for cancer is a good thing dontcha think?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

And that's exactly why teenage boys have them. Cause no one wants a nice pair to be ruined by breast cancer. :P

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Hey silly child, all the money from those bracelets goes to breast cancer research

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yeah, I'm aware. I'm not saying people shouldn't buy them. I'm just saying they're stupid. There are other ways to fund breast cancer research besides giving teenage boys another excuse to talk about boobies.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It's a business ploy, it's super smart. Yeah, teenagers think it's cute an funny. But it's a great way to help fund research. Teens are more likely to buy a cute looking bracelet than go up to a table and donate 4-5 dollars to cancer research.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Well another problem with it is that its only going towards breast cancer research. You know, there are so many other types of cancer that no one seems to give a shit about, I mean you don't see people wearing bracelets that say 'I love rectum' or 'I heart lymph'. Its just the novelty of the fact thats its about boobs that entices so many people. Yes, I'm all for supporting/donating to breast cancer research. But thats not what most of the kids who wear them have in mind. And that is why i think they are stupid. have a nice day.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Breast cancer is more known than other types of cancer simply because it's more COMMON. And even if those kids who wear them aren't concerned with breast cancer, at least that money still goes to research.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

(J.): Oh my god, read the other comments. I am fully aware that the money goes towards breast cancer research. I still think they're retarded.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I know that you're aware that the money goes towards breast cancer research, I'm just saying that there are more people affected by breast cancer than by other types of cancer. And at least in the end, whether the person wearing it cares for charity or not, the money still goes to research.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

No, I would definitely wear a bracelet that says "I love...DAT ASS" for rectum cancer. And who cares if they're stupid...obviously its making a lot of money for breast cancer

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I have one(I'm in Florida), and I'm really unhappy that that school in California has banned them :( Have you heard about that (Or is it possibly your school?)?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Oh, and yess, a lot of people I know have them, too :)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I see those things all over the place

by Anonymous 13 years ago

...and by that I mean the bracelets

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I have a green and white one!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Blue and white<33

by Anonymous 13 years ago

If you have one, then why did you NW this post?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Woah, I thought I yeah you ared. Oops

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I have a boobies make me smile shirt.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

No but i want one....

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I see some Save the Tatas stickers on cars here in the South sometimes, but no I ♥ Boobies.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm in the South too, and it seems like every other car has a "Save the Tatas" sticker.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Lol, I bet they've never even heard of the Save the Tatas ones on the west coast, just like we didn't know about the I ♥ Boobies ones.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I've seen a kid on my bus wearing one. It was blue and white.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'd get one, but it seems to have evolved from support for those with breast cancer, to a fashion statement. Not cool.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I think that it would be better if it was a "fad", thus getting more attention. Then people buy like 10, and the foundation gets more money. But, people are still aware that it is for breast cancer, so I don't see anything wrong. This is the smartest way to get teenagers involved.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

But it means nothing to them. I understand wanting to get money for the foundation, but if I was the head of that that foundation I'd rather got money from people who were passionate about the cause, rather than someone blindly following what's popular. But, that's me. I suppose as long as the foundation is getting money, it doesn't matter.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Unfortunately, I don't. But I could probably pay one of my friends to go to wherever the hell they get them and get one for me. Almost EVERYONE at my school has an I♥Boobies band, or 5 Silly Bandz. I have neither.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

GAH, couldn't edit in 9 seconds. >.< Well, some schools are actually banning them because they say "Boobies" on them.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

</3 Sillybandz.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Everyone has them here, or at least the "popular" kids do.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I don't have one, my mom won't let me wear one in public because she says it's "inappropriate". But I want one of the ones that says check yourself.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

(MeghanElaine):Chickity-check yoself before you wreck yoself.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm here in Florida, and they're starting to catch on. Mine is pink and white :)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Wow. I click on this and in the side bar is an ad for breast cancer. Irony!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

that is ironic. i have croûton ads. ahah

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I love croutons... and my boobies. xP

by Anonymous 13 years ago

i wish

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I don't. Everyone else does though. One time we were all the mall and the guy working there offered my sister a free drink if she gave him her green "I Heart Boobies" bracelet.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I HAD one . But my friend stole it -_- . Then my school banned them .

by Anonymous 13 years ago

nope, but I WANT one..

by Anonymous 13 years ago

pink and black :D

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I don't have my pink & white bracelet anymore, but I have a t-shirt xD SAVE THE BOOBIES!!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I would totally get one if I was a guy, it be kinda weird me (girl) wearing one everyone at school will be calling me lesbo ir stuff like that. But my brother has one, and a kid in school has a couple too, I think they're catching on tho.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I don't have one, but I want one, where do you get them?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Their really popular in Coppell texas

by Anonymous 13 years ago

If you have a Zumez store, thats where i got mine (kansas) but they don't sell the original ones anymore, it's a different style now.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I live in Florida and I have yet to see anyone in my town with one of those, lol. But I do want one.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I want one but my mom would never let me out of the house with one of those on.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

The first time I saw the bracelet form was at warped tour, I got the sweat shirt from my friend about 6 months ago, pretty epic. Everyone wants to buy the sweat shirt off of me.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

My school had them banned because they were distracting us :/

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That laurenlaurenlauren chick sure does like to complain about stupid things. I bet she's a real pain in the ass.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

No, i'm not. I'm just saying my opinion of them, fuck off. And next time grow some balls and don't be anonymous. Also, I've noticed that you comment on a lot of my stuff spelling anonymous that dumbass way with two n's, is that a coincidence or are you the same person, who is just so bored and lonely that you hide behind a computer and insult people you don't even know?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I want one :( I have no idea where people get them from and seeing as I'm in college now they aren't banned....not that they ever were at my school but yeah lol

by Anonymous 13 years ago

get them at zumiez

by Anonymous 13 years ago

thank you!!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

i hate how the word "boobies" is gigantic, and the "cancer" is tiny if there at all. Kind of defeats the purpose

by Anonymous 13 years ago

No. They're a fashion statement now, and I only see teenage boys wearing them to emphasize that they're TOTES STRAIGHT.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

The very first time I saw one, my friend was wearing it, and I wanted one SOO bad. Like, I was willing to pay her for hers. But I supported the cause, I wasn't just appealed by "I <3 Boobies!" (But I was appealed by that) But then I got back to school and a shit-ton of people had them. I no longer wanted one because so many people at school have them. I'll get one when they aren't so popular...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

everyone should have one cause everyone does <3 boobies. straight men love them, gay women love them, straight women want other women's, and gay men also want them.

by Anonymous 12 years ago
