+384 Colleges & textbook makers are in cahoots to make a new edition every year so you can't get any money selling your book back at the end of the semester, amirite?

This is just a well-known fact.

I don't know if you're insinuating that I got this post from there but I've never even heard of this site until you mentioned it. This was actually written because I once again got screwed when I tried to sell books back at the end of this last semester.

No I'm not, I should have left a note too... this post just reminded me of that and I thought people might enjoy it.

Ah ok. I apologize for reacting poorly to that. I did read it though and I did enjoy it so thank you for posting it up on there. I've just had people in the past be nasty about some posts and saying that I've stolen my posts from other places before when its never happened so I assumed that this was another situation like that. I do apologize.

Cahoots? o.o

Textbook writers are dirty and evil. $160 for a book I'll use for five months? Really?

(Sqwancho):I must agree! That's how much my math book cost, which I later found out I didn't even need to buy. And if I want to sell it back I only get $49. College is a rip-off!

half.com will help. All my textbooks were over $100 but the most expensive was around $80

our books cost like £5 and we sell them back to the school after the year..if they are in good condition. Otherwise we have to pay for a new one to replace the one you wrecked/lost.
