-204 Seriously people? 9/11 happened 11 years ago. It's time to move on, shit happens. You don't see people still crying over the millions of Jews that died in the holocaust, amirite?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Actually, you do. There are people who are still affected by the Holocaust. Also, it's only been 9 years, there are families still grieving.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

it was a terrible thing that happened. and 9 years really isn't long. also, people still mourn the loss of all the jews that died in the holocaust. u sir, are a jack-ass.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

True. Also, there are survivors of the Holocaust who I'm pretty sure still cry about it.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

i dun get it

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Maybe because more of the direct family of the people who died in 9/11 are still alive...

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Jews aren't crying over the holocaust anymore because it happened 70 years ago. Anyone who had anything to do with the holocaust has either died, moved on, or was too young to remember. Pretty much everyone who had a loved one die in 9/11 is still alive.

I only voted NW because of the last sentence

by Anonymous 11 years ago

It's not my place to say when someone should stop caring about something. I don't think it's anyone's place, really. Especially for a subject such as death. How can you tell someone to get over the death of somebody they loved? Regardless of why or how it happened...fuck you anon. Fuck you.

Within past six months, I have cried over the people who suffered and died in the Holocaust.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Why

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Go ahead and tell this to the families who lost loved ones during 9/11.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Link me to the facebook of one. I'll do it.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

At first I saw "11 years ago" and thought nothing much of it cause it's 2012, so it made sense, but then I saw the year it was posted, 2010, and thought, wow, this person put the wrong year, cause it wouldn't have happened in 1999. Am I the only one who realizes this? O.o

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I bet a mod changed it to make it relevant now.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

It's insensitive to say this, but I do agree that the US almost isnt allowing people to heal from it. Ignoring the issue, or telling people to get over it is rude. However, so is dragging it up every year and not allowing people to heal and get better.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I just had a Holocaust survivor come to my school 6 months ago & it's taught about at my school every year, so yes I would say we still mourn the Holocaust. Plus 9/11 was JUST 11 years ago so children who lost their fathers are still teens & even when they're 50 they'll still be reminded everyday that their relative died in am act of terrorism. You're just flat out rude.
