Today is my best friend's birthday O_O

I was supposed to get paid to work a weekend at my favorite place in the world, a camp I've gone to my whole life, but instead I'm spending the weekend with my best friend for her birthday. I'm just that great.

Unfortunately, I'm not that great. I did miss my best friends birthday last year. I felt like I deserved to go straight to hell.

I missed my best friends birthday as well due to the flu.

I just didn't wish her a happy birthday. I didn't realize the date. She doesn't tend to count down to her birthday, and I didn't realize it was so close. It was horrible. She was terribly forgiving-which was the worst part.

It makes it worse when they forgive you for it because it isn't okay at least to us. I wanted to smack my friend when she said it was okay I missed her birthday and could barely speak(Lost voice) to say happy birthday and I was sorry.

hahaha. me too. I wanted to tell her "NO! It's not ok! I'm a horrible, horrible person!" haha. but I didn't. because I'm a coward.
