Sorry but what does everyone have against British food?! I mean come on, FISH AND CHIPS.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Just reading those words makes my mouth water.
I was in England and had the most amazing fish and chips outside of London. Then I came back to the US and there are chippies, just not like the ones in England. :(
Dammit it was so fucking good. D:

If Doctor Who DIDN'T have British Doctors, I probably wouldn't watch it.
I would've stopped after David Tennant left, but nope. Matt Smith, though far less appealing, is still British.
And House M.D.? If Hugh Laurie wasn't British, I could care less.
And Stephen Fry. Following him on Twitter. Why? He's British.
So.
Thank God I have BBCA ;) I might start watching Law and Order.

fetish much?

You could call it that~
by Anonymous13 years ago
I LOVE Doctor Who :) Although I think I'd still watch it even if it wasn't British, just because it's become an obsession of mine I don't think I could fare without.
by Anonymous13 years ago
As long as the doctor is relatively cool, I'd suck it up.
You have to warm up to them, y'know?
by Anonymous13 years ago
Yeah, at first I hated Matt Smith, but I've grown to like him since then. Especially for the quote about fezzes :P

I'm only about a fifth of the way through season 5 episode 2. It's not on Instant Netflix, I don't have it recorded, and I'm struggling to find a good site with all of season 5 ):

I thank Brits for their wonderful dubstep. And coldplay of course
by Anonymous13 years ago
As much as I want to be a nonconformist and don't want to give Britain the satisfaction of being better, they kind of are.
I was there over the summer... I like it a lot better than the US. Especially Ireland. There are so many lovely little cafes, and the scenery is just breathtaking. The food as actually really good there. Fish and Chips and Pasties and amazing. When I was in Stratford I had this spinach and goat cheese pastry.... heaven in my mouth.
I saw the first episode of Sherlock in my hotel room. Now it's coming to PBS and I am so excited, I love Sherlock so much. :D
I will admit though that you guys have some pretty weird-ass shows. That one, Marry Snog Annoy? That's frigging WEIRD...
by Anonymous13 years ago
SHERLOCK WAS AMAZING. Sorry, it just was. And still is. They've said it's returning. WIN.
Good choice America to get it on your TVs (:
(And no-one watched 'Snog, Marry, Avoid' or whatever it was..)
by Anonymous13 years ago
I can't wait to see the whole thing! I've only seen the first episode and clips of the rest of YouTube. :(
I know, I just read it would have another three-episode season! I'm so excited! I hope they introduce Gladstone. :3

food, athletes/athletics, hot girls, tv, movies...
by Anonymous13 years ago
Except The Office. Yeah, the British version was first, but it just sucks.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Did you guys know, that presently, Great Briton follows the standards of the U.S. constitution MORE than the U.S.???
by Anonymous13 years ago
I've been watching Doctor Who, Torchwood and Sarah Jane Adventures on this website <www.doctorwho-episodes.com/ >. Some aren't the best quality and you can only watch 71 minutes a day for free, but it's the best I can find.
