It is a good book. Delivers themes of prejudice, hypocrisy, family upbringing, courage, the mockingbird motif... Not the best book but definitely somewhere on top of the list.

Took the words right out of my mouth ^_^

Definitely an excellent book. But to me it's Perfume.

THE BEST BOOK EVER IS TWILIGHT!!! lol jk i'm not delusional

my favorite book is "Like Water for Chocolate".

Highly subjective, as this would depend on what your personal definition of "good" is. I do love Perfume, and there are many other books, such as Anne Rice's vampire collection, that keep me turning pages. It's an important part of literary history, though, no doubt.

MEeee too.

Lovely Bones or Change of Heart. Those books really reach to the core of someone.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

...we have to read it in school this year.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

One of my favorites. Very similar to The Lovely Bones and such along the lines of groundbreaking fiction.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I like it, but it's not my favorite. my favorite is the book thief.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I really, really hated that book...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It's one of my favorites but "A Clockwork Orange" is better.

"To Kill A Mockingbird" is amazing! The beginning was boring at first, but by the end, I could barely put it down! If you don't like it after you read it for school, try reading it in your free time.. Reading for school takes the enjoyment out of most stories
