Sigh. I'm a waitress, and I can't wrap my head around this post. You might be able to share, and hopefully you actually read the menu, but you have no idea how herp derp some customers are, man. They don't read anything nor do they listen to you. Sometimes I have to repeat the soup of the day for each person, after mentioning it twice when I take drink order and right before I ask if they're ready. So, for example if I have a table of four people, I end up having to repeat is six times. Also, if there was one menu for say, two people? Neither would read what was included or on a specific sandwich or what came with what dinner. My favorite (not) thing that has happened: Someone ordered the clubhouse, all right cool, it's is the most popular sandwich, simple, big, turkey, lettuce, tomato, bacon, and mayo. It says how it is all prepared, and it's a pretty detailed description underneath "Clubhouse." I serve it, and this fool asks me, "What's this?" "Er, your club, sir?" "Oh. I didn't k...

Why the fuck would you even complain about this? If they didn't give everyone one, then customers would complain about that because to most, having to share with someone is such a hassle. It's up to YOU to tell them "Could you just let us share, please?" instead of expecting them to read your mind and automatically know EXACTLY what YOU want. The excuses people find to bash food servers. Pathetic.
