Girls: A guy has never written you a song like they do in all the movies/on tv, amirite?
by Anonymous11 years ago
Not a song, but a love poem...
by Anonymous13 years ago
I would, but i though it would be weird because this is not a movie....
by Anonymous13 years ago
I agree tho, don't, it can make things awkaward, unless you were completely a million and two percent in love or something.
by Anonymous13 years ago
yeah, i think i can see myself doing that in the future!
by Anonymous13 years ago
Haha in the future is a good idea. Least I think :)
by Anonymous13 years ago
DO IT. whoever that girl is will love it. oh and it doesn't have to be about how in love you are....sounds stupid but youtube the song introducing me from camp rock..
by Anonymous13 years ago
kay I agree that "Introducing Me" is like the cutest song ever, but what if the girl doesn't like him back as much?
by Anonymous13 years ago
Sometimes you gotta take chances. Better than sitting there wondering isn't it? and if she does like you, you now have done one of the most romantic things ever and if she doesn't she'll still think it's sweet, Unless of course she's a b and then you don't want her anyhow.
Even if I didn't like a guy, if he wrote me a song, I think I'd at least go on a date with him. you never know.
by Anonymous13 years ago
mm yea I guess I can see where you are coming from. I guess I'm "b" tho, I was going out with a guy (like two years ago...) and was unsure about the relationship, then he wrote me the poem and I was like, shit, this guy really cares for me, and it scared me off cuz I knew I didn't like him like that and I felt horrible for even catching his eye, I don't know if that makes sense? Lol I just... yea. never mind.
by Anonymous13 years ago
ok first of all, I for some reason thogh i was talking to chosen to lead this whole time....i had to think for a second when you gave that last comment. haha im dumb i really need to check usernames
anyhow. Yeah thats true. idk. i guess it was probably good that he wrote you the poem though, if you both weren't on the same level in the relationship.
by Anonymous13 years ago
haha its okay I do that too often... and yea I guess so. It put things in perspective for me, I guess.
by Anonymous13 years ago
yeah. I mean, not that my POV really means anything. I've never even had a boyfriend(by choice, but still)
by Anonymous13 years ago
I've given up on boyfriends until grad or university where it'll actually mean something, trust me, dating at a young age? You aren't missing out on anything. You want your firsts to be with someone special, and not just because you want to be like everyone else, holding hands with a random wallking around and around school all day.
by Anonymous13 years ago
well i have had a date before but never a real boyfriend because most of the guys i know are either like brothers to me, are idiots or already have girlfriends.
by Anonymous13 years ago
By choice, lololol
by Anonymous11 years ago
Serenading, yeah. But it wasn't an original song.
by Anonymous11 years ago
In 7th grade a boy wrote me a love letter... he compared me to a booger and gum under the desks.
by Anonymous11 years ago
well, was it a good booger?
by Anonymous11 years ago
ive written songs for girls, but never actually played it for them... yet D:
oh! and ive also serenaded a girl :p just never with an original
by Anonymous11 years ago
Of course not. Writing love songs is hell of gay. It'd be as effective as sucking on a cock in front of her.
by Anonymous11 years ago
With all the Yaoi fangirls nowadays?
Also, somewhat unrelated

by Anonymous11 years ago
Yeah I don't give a shit about the mating habits of birds
by Anonymous11 years ago
That's why it's unrelated ;)
by Anonymous11 years ago
It's not that gay guys do it for each other. It's just, writing down your feelings and making them rhyme and singing them over an unplugged guitar is inherently gay, imho.
by Anonymous11 years ago
It would make me seem gay.
by Anonymous11 years ago
What about poets? There have been the most not-gay poets
And they put their feelings on rhyme too
by Anonymous11 years ago
Are you actually going to try and tell me that there's nothing gay about poetry?
by Anonymous11 years ago
Yes
by Anonymous11 years ago
Go ahead. I haven't laughed enough today, anyway.

Edward Gorey's Alphabet

Also
That's not to say I like poetry all that much
I'm just not entirely sure what's gay about it
Cause I'm pretty sure poetry is not attracted to its own gender (or anything at all for that matter)
by Anonymous11 years ago
Wow, thanks for the major downer.
And fine, poets, then.
by Anonymous11 years ago
not only is it not gay, but it works.
soo....
by Anonymous11 years ago
Also aren't it always the musicians who get laid?
by Anonymous11 years ago
lmao I wouldn't NECESSARILY put it like that haha but it at least sets you apart from everyone else, and its a great ice breaker.
by Anonymous11 years ago
Yeah, for performing in concerts and shit. But writing a gushy love song is different.
by Anonymous11 years ago
bottom line, if its for a girl thats worth it, and you make it super romantic, roses, acoustic guitar, a bonfire maybe... play her a song your wrote for her, you can totally make her night. and at the end, isnt that what its all about? making a girl so happy she will never want to leave?
Still not seeing whats gay about it.
by Anonymous11 years ago
Well one time this guy sang a song he made up on the spot but it was more of a joke than anything
by Anonymous11 years ago
I wrote that bitch a song, bitches love songs
by Anonymous11 years ago
I always feel so awkward and embarrassed when people sing at me.
by Anonymous11 years ago
I knew someone who wrote my friend (who was obsessed with Beauty and the Beast) a parody of "Are You Gonna Be My Girl" and made it "Are You Gonna Be My Belle"
by Anonymous11 years ago
my name is already in a song. Lorraine sweet lorraine is a very old song.
