That's the joke. I think it means you have to make up a second life to impress other people, or something like that. Think of it like "My Fantasy Life Is Average." At least that's what I think.

Second Life is real? You mean like in The Office, right? I thought that was just a Sims spin-off thing.

Oh, didn't know that. I was talking about how in The Office Dwight has a Second Life that is the same as his real life. I believe it was called Second Life in the show as well. Didn't know it was real.

Uh, yeah, I heard it was on the Office as well as a couple episodes of CSI... and it's really not all that similar to the Sims xD Much, much better and sortof worse at the same time. It's free; you should try it, and don't give up too quickly. It's a lot to absorb at first if you don't know anyone, but it's awesome once you get used to it.

Second Life is like the Sims with no limits and no needs... you can be anything, do anything, and have anything you can imagine, all with no censorship and a very dirty mind. However, you never have to worry about eating, sleeping, bathing, etc. The "game" is free, but you're probably going to want to find a way to make money inworld because your basic avatar is pretty obvious and noobish, and there's so much amazing stuff to customize with, besides the fact that you can create your own. Sorry if that sounded like a commercial; it's just the honest opinion of someone who loves it.

You go to the Second Life website to download it, but you have to install the viewer to get inworld. If you don't have decent graphics capability, I wouldn't bother until you do now that I think of it; on-board graphics certainly aren't going to run the game properly. The lag would ruin it.
