+139 All those dedicated nerds are going to be soooo pissed off when Rosseta Stone makes a "Klingon" version. amirite?

why?

I really don't know. It's not like people learn a language just for the hell of learning it and it's highly unlikely very many people would actually buy this version of Rosetta Stone.

Yeah, but I don't see why "nerds" would be so pissed off. Rosetta Stone is pretty good but it's not like a magic pill that's better than any other learning method that Star Trek fans would have learned it by.

I guess the idea is that nerds would be mad because lesser fans could now master the language, which doesn't make sense because the effort needed is tremendous regardless and nobody besides these same 'nerds' would end up buying it.

I heard that Klingon isn't a fully developed language (e.g. it doesn't have words for table, fork, etc.), making it essentially useless for day-to-day life. Now what they SHOULD make a Rosseta Stone for is Elvish.

Or the language of the Dovah.
