We all see your profile pic, bro.

That was cold... I wonder if you could say that without going anonymous. hmm

It's stupid for the schools to have any of that (best looking, most likely to go to prison, etc.) because they try so hard to tell kids not to stereotype each other.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Lol Most likely to go to prison?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Haha.. yeah we seriously had that as a category.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Haha my school had that as a category in my freshman year but then everybody chose the only senior black guy and his parents got really mad...

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I lol'd.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

.. Why?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Because school shouldn't be about looks, school should be about academics.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Well of course, do you really think a best looking section will some how change that? They have a section for everything else too. I don't see any harm in it.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

No, not really. I don't think it's a major deal, but schools shouldn't be advocating attractiveness. Students already do their fair share of that.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Umm students are the ones who make the yearbook.. A teacher simply approves it.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Yeah, but the school is the one that has it manufactured and profits from it.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

And? That has nothing to do with my point. You said students are the ones who advocate attractiveness, and student are the ones who make te yearbook. So it clearly reflects that. I personally don't care for how I look like in school, I get ready in like 10 minutes. But other people like to dress up and what not, that's fine. Why can't looks be something good

I think everyone is too sensitive about appearances. It's not like none of the other categories are things you have to be 'born with.' At most, it's our genes plus our upbringing. 'Best Looking Student' is as fair as 'Best Scientist' or whatever, because genes brought forth physical appearance, and genes and the home environment of that child brings forth achievement in science class.
