I like that you changed that awful wording. Lol anyway, you're right, sorry, I believe I made the same mistake as the first guy. And he meant the pot was the 97 and the other was 30 btw. He said 3x=y but it was x=3y

But once you change it to x=3y it affects all the rest of the work, so you can't just switch the two answers.

Steps if you are curious. Let, C represent Cocaine, and let P represent Pot since: a) 3C = P and b) 310P+ 450C = 54,000 sub a into b 310(3C) + 450C = 54,000 1380 C = 54,000 C = 39.13 sub C into a 3(39.13)= P 117.39= P Therefore, David has 39.13 ounces of crack and 117.39 ounces of pot For part b) you'd have to let me know where he lives so I could complete it. Also depends on if this is his first offense or not

There is 1/3 the amount of crack as there is pot so it should be 3C=P, not 3P=C.
