It's happened to me. I have a cousin who is the same sex and is 2 years younger than me, who's really cute and we used to act like we were dating and would kiss each other because he wanted to know what it was like to be in a relationship (I was 13, he was 11). But I ended actually becoming attracted to him (later I figured out I was gay), however he felt that the curiosity phase of his life was long over by the time I realised it. I know it's wrong to feel that way towards your cousin (and it doesn't help that he looks a lot like me and our family is from Texas, haha). I just can't help it, he's so sweet and has a good sense of humour, but I hope he finds a girl who makes him happy because I know he will.
