+202 People complain of girls complaining that their ugly, but they cant really say "im so pretty" because then people think that they're arrogant, amirite?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

So they do neither. BAM. Problem solved.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

That their ugly did what? Do I have ugly? Do you have ugly? Do we all have ugly? Sorry for being dick-ish, but I couldn't resist :$

"I am a fairly decent looking female" -problem solved

If people say they're ugly or pretty then I just consider them vain because they obsess so much over it.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Or they might legitimately have low self esteem and genuinely think they're ugly. It can happen >.< I think there's a difference.

No, there isn't. Since when do looks matter? There's a huge difference from knowing the right clothes to wear to a business meeting and trying to perfect your face with makeup and trying to slim your body with excessive exercise and "diets".

We live in America. Looks do matter to about 75% of the country and 90% of those under 25. If you were treated differently/worse for not looking like society's idea of perfect (and it DOES HAPPEN) you will try to look it. Imagine being in high school and having people talk shit to you or talk about other people for not looking 'perfect' every single day. You better bet most people would try to conform to standards to counter that.

HAHAHAHA wow. Nice statistics, did you just pull those out of your ass? I am in high school, celestialjess. Everyone there is a fucking dumbass. I can't even believe people try to appeal to their peers there. You need to grow up and fast. The sooner you're less concerned about your appearance the better future you'll have. Any excuse as to not change it has always been some stupid reasoning which really just says, "I don't wanna!!"

As am I. Chill the hell out Jesus Christ, it was just an opinion. I didn't say I was like that(overly concerned with how I look) I think I'm just as concerned with appearances as I should. I take care of myself. I don't completely judge someone based on appearance. I don't shoot down guys simply based on the fact that they're not 'hot'. In fact, it's really hard for me to see someone as attractive unless I know them as a cool person. I see them as...well meh, idk. Nothing really. And you know what? That's tons on people's realities. It takes time for people to 'grow up' as you say. Oh, and those statistics came from MY experiences. I thought you knew that since I don't think real statistics like that actually exist.
