People of all ages can vote for American Idol. And you can vote up to ten times on one phone.

I honestly don't like American Idol that much, but the rest of my school is like "OMFG. YOU VOTED FOR HER!? I VOTED FOR HIM. GO TO HELL, YOU DOUCHE" and crap like that.

I'm guessing you haven't seen American idol for the past few seasons... And anyways it's not like the whole country does it. The same people will vote hundreds of times now they have the texting option

A) you can vote more than once, unlike a goverment election b) any of any age can vote for american idol, not just those over 18
